How long should a person wait to have persisting lumps/ridges injected with Kenalog? What strength is used? What are the risks? How can the risks be avoided? Thank you

Answer: Lumps Lynn, I would wait 6 to 8 weeks before any injections. Try to massage it first. If you get it injected I would start slow (diluted) and see how it responds.

Answer: Treating lumps after a facelift Lumps and irregularities are to be expected after a facelift. No treatment is without risks. The risk from injecting Kenalog include thinning of the overlying skin, fat atrophy and development of spider veins over the skin. If used it should be used in a dilute form and judicially. You can use either Kenalog 10 or dilute Kenalog 40 with either saline or Xylocaine.
