I am so very happy with Dr Cope’s skill as a surgeon, he did a phenomenal job. He has a lovely gentle manner which puts you at ease immediately & explains everything about your procedure/operation thoroughly.
My experience with Dr Cope was very positive. He is very informative and upfront. I had a small pocket of fat removed with liposuction and it was very successful. I did it under local and had next to no scarring. I would definitely go back!
Dr Cope was wonderful in explaining the operation I was going to have - every question no matter how 'silly' I thought it was, he answered - and in a way I could understand (i.e. I didn't need a medical dictionary!)
A professional, trustworthy and an experienced and skilled surgeon with a lovely personality. He explained the process and options in simple language with a focus on my needs and my understanding. Really happy with the result.
Having worked for Orthopaedic Surgeons for nearly forty years I set the bar of excellence very high. Dr Charles Cope far exceeded my expectations both clinically and surgically. I have every confidence in his work.
I’ve always carried extra weight in my abdominal area, despite years of exercise and Pilates I just couldn’t shift it. I had my surgery on Wednesday the 17th April and I’m 2 days post op. Waking up from surgery felt so strange, my stomach felt extremely tight and tingly. I’m feeling generally pretty good, although suffering from the occasional bout of dizziness. I have pretty low blood pressure. Had my first shower today and saw what was underneath the garment for the first time. I was really happy! Dr Charles Cope in Mosman was my surgeon and he’s done an amazing job, he’s very kind and answered all of my questions without judgement. Updated on 21 Apr 2019: Feeling good, still a little sore/tender and definitely bruised but loving the way my stomach looks. Dizziness has subsided! Pottering around at home and went out to my parents house yesterday and today!
...read moreI had a breast augmentation with Dr Cope and I’m thrilled with the results. After 3 pregnancies and 2 children, my boobs were saggy and bottom heavy with nothing at all on top for clevage. After my procedure I have amazing boobs that Dr cope filled out in all the right places. He was always friendly, professional, knowledgeable and thorough. Having the vectra machine was a huge positive. This machine takes photos of your breasts at the initial consultation and then he can show you what they will look like with different implants and sizes. Made the decision a lot easier to make! Post operation care was amazing, minimal scarring and after 3 days, little pain! Would highly recommend him for anyone wanting to have this done.
...read moreHaving back pain for as long as I can remember became a norm to me since I am too chicken to go under the knife. I found cosmetology treatments as luxury and not a necessity. A shallow-narrow minded view led me to suffer through years and years of shoulder and back problems. When I turned 30 I realised that I may be... in the future would seriously consider to finally be relieved. So I did some research and read through articles about my same dilemma. Women that has the same concern and curiosity as me, difficulty to wear clothes I prefer, unable to do activities that I would like to try, that feeling of low self-esteem and lack of confidence to ones self. It took me years to finally decide to do it and the only regret I have is not having it done sooner.

I'm so glad I found Real Self. The support and encouragement here is amazing! Like most of us here, I've had big breasts my whole life. By 9years old I had my first bra and by high school, I was already in a c cup. At my biggest, I was an E cup but having lost 13kg, I'm in a DD now. The downside of losing all my weight is how badly they now sag and consequently, my neck and upper back has worsened - a LOT. I'm seeing my chiropractor almost three times more often than I did prior to my weight loss. So, I decided it was finally time to do something about it. My GP (regular physician) told me I was 'a prime candidate' for BR when I went to her for the referral to my PS, which I found really encouraging. The PS made me feel really comfortable and after seeing him, I was more certain than ever that this is what I want to do. My surgery is scheduled for 21st March and I can't wait!Updated on 27 Feb 2013:3 weeks to go! I'm really excited for this surgery and just can't wait for the time to be here already. I've received pre-op paperwork from my PS last week, so it's all feeling a bit more real now. I found out I'll have waterproof dressings after surgery, so I'll be able to shower right away, which is great. No under wire bras and no heavy lifting, sport or exercise for 3-4 weeks. All good with me! I forgot to mention in my last post that my stats are 5', 128lbs, wearing a 36dd bra. I'm working on losing another 4-5lbs before my surgery, which will have me at my goal weight finally! My pre-op appt is on March 11th and surgery March 21st.Updated on 6 Mar 2013:Two weeks to go today! I'm excited and just waiting as the days pass now. I'm looking forward to an end to the neck pain and being able to wear button down tops without them gaping at the front. I have my second consult with my PS coming up n Monday 11th and I plan to ask about what post op medications or creams I should have ready. Oh, and I'm dreaming about the surgery almost every night. Excited much? Lol.Updated on 14 Mar 2013:Less than 1 week to go! I'm so excited now, just focussing on not getting sick and trying to be patient while the days pass. Just uploading some photos of the top that inspired my final decision to proceed with looking into surgery and a dress I hope I'll be more comfortable with in future ;)Updated on 20 Mar 2013:It's my turn! I have to be at the hospital in about 10 hours. I'll update when I can. Healing thoughts and prayers to everyone heading in to surgery over the next few days!Updated on 20 Mar 2013:All done! So far, so good. Staff are wonderful. Feeling quite tired so I plan to sleep all afternoon!Updated on 21 Mar 2013:Day two and I'm feeling great. It feels quite tight around my chest but not painful. Dr said they will swell over the weekend, so I imagine they'll get tighter yet! Just updating another pic coz they looked so tiny & cute when I got dressed! I can't believe that's me!
