Liposuction, Tummy Tuck or Other? (Photo)

Question

What procedure would be best for me? I am 147lbs, 32 years old, 5' 00". I am done having children, I had my tubes removed 2023. Breast augmentation 2024. Looking into getting this stubborn belly fat, loose skin and stretch marks looking better. I am active and I weight train 4-5 days a week. I have PCOS, hypothyroid disease and Graves' disease which are managed with medication. What procedure may be best to help get a smooth, flat tummy area? How long is recovery? I'm located in Texas.

From you photographs, it seems he would be an excellent candidate for a tummy tuck.  This would tighten any looseness of your abdominal muscle and remove any extra skin.  Often, liposuction is used to some extent for additional local contouring.  Liposuction alone probably would not give you excellent results.

Hi, thank you for sharing your question. Based on the photos you may be a better candidate for a tummy tuck rather than liposuction alone. If you are averse to a tummy tuck scar, then a combination of liposuction and renuvion may help.

From your photos you would benefit from a tummy tuck. Liposuction will target the fat but not the loose skin. A tummy tuck would also help with tightening the abdominal muscle whereas liposuction can't do that. Recovery for a tummy tuck includes no vigorous exercise for 6 weeks.

Based on your pics you appear to have weakened or separated abdominal muscles, which is common after pregnancy (diastasis recti). A tummy tuck can tighten these muscles to create a firmer, flatter abdomen.

Also, can be combined with Liposuction to can sculpt the body, removing fat from areas where it's not desired while leaving natural curves in place.

Hello; In determining for this; 2 factors are significant. Skin quality and separation in the abdominal muscles. If there is separation in your abdominal muscles; even if fat is removed; because the muscles are loose; you will not have a flat stomach. Especially, when you bend and sit; you will look potbellied. Even if, there is loose skin in your lower abdominal skin; if there are few cracks; Renuvion J Plasma; will be useful for tightening the skin after Vaserlipo technique. Your return back to the social life; will be 5 days; starting sports; 15 days later.
There is no separation in your abdominal muscles; but, if there is a lot of looseness in your lower abdominal skin; I recommend for Vaserlipo and Mini Abdominoplasty methods. Returning back to social life; will be 1 week, starting sport activities; 20 days later.

Thank you for your inquiry!  During pregnancy, you abdominal muscles widen.  Liposuction does nothing to repair the muscle.  Tummy Tuck included repairing the muscle, removing the excess fat and lifts the mons. Schedule a consult with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon to help you reach your goals.

Hello, It is Dr.Hong from Fresh PS Clinic, S.Korea Seoul.According to the picture, belly does not look too sagging (picture is dark and focus is quite far.)So, it is true, and your abdomen's skin elasticity is not bad, liposuction might be enough. As far you are only 321 years old, I believe it is. Stretch marks are almost untreatable. Depending on their condition (red-brown -easier to treat , white -more difficult) Basically, for treating stretching marks Vbeam Prima, Skin Booster inj, RF needling and etc. can be used. 
In case of liposuction, in future I would recommend to use Morpheous8 (RF needling system) for maintain elasticity. Hope my answer will help^^

Thank you for providing photos. If you did liposuction alone, I fear that you would have skin laxity remaining. A lipoabdominoplasty would be in your best interest to remove excess fat and remove excess skin.

It is very likely that aggressive liposuction of abdomen, flanks and lower back will give you satisfactory result. In person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon with experience in liposuction is recommended. Good luck.
