Fillers usually migrate when they are in areas that move often. It is rare for this to happen wtih approprite technique and when used in the right location. I don't restrict my patients immediately after injection except for pressure for 24 hours. I suggest seeing a cosmetic dermatologist with experience in fillers. Best, Dr. Emer.
Hello madams0402, Thank you for your question. The likelihood of filer migration is extremely unlikely to not possible. I would feel confident this far out from your injection to sleep as you wish and to wash and touch the face as normal.Enjoy it!Dr. S
It is rare for fillers to move after injection. If the filler is properly placed, it is unlikely the filler would move simply from light touch or sleeping. We advise our patients to avoid anything that would manipulate the filler for the first 24 hours, such as massage, but at this point in time, it is unlikely the filler would migrate.
I think that "migration" of fillers is more of an excuse for poorly placed filler by the less experienced injectors. I wouldn't worry this many days out that your filler will move. Perhaps within the first couple hours if you put your head in a massage horseshoe it is possible to move it.

Voluma is one of my favorite products for filling sagging cheeks. It looks very natural and can last for up to 18 months, as it helps to stimulate new collagen production. The poor outcomes that you describe are not due to the product itself, but to injector error. For example, discoloration is...
