I had a breast augmentation 10 years ago. Now I have no upper pole fullness, but my breast crease sits so low on my chest. Most women who need a lift have higher breasts creases. Why is my breast crease so low and can a lift bring the crease up higher on my chest?
Answer: Bellesoma Method Unfortunately, you have not provided photographs. The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained if not injured during your previous surgery. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Lift The lift will not raise your crease, but internal tightening can be done to raise the crease. If you have large heavy implants, it may resag from the weight.

Answer: Low breasts - can a lift bring the crease up higher on my chest? Hello Dear @Ambition88 thank you for your question. Yes, a lift can raise the crease higher on the chest. Is important to create a surgical plan that take into account what you want. A correction of the position of the mammary fold can be done as well as a pexy for the improvement of the shape and volume of the breast. For more information and recommendations is best to consult with one or several board certified plastic surgeons. Best wishes! Alan Gonzalez MD, FACS

Answer: Breast lift Dear Ambition88, my preferred lift is a lollipop lift when a periareolar won't do (ie greater than 2cm lift required). The lollipop technique was created by a Canadian plastic surgeon named Elizabeth Hall-Findley and treats the breast as a three dimensional structure instead of two dimensions (anchor - lift). Most importantly it does not require the horizontal component scars that the anchor-lift requires and breasts appear much more natural, lifted, and less boxy. Lastly, the lift lasts longer because the lollipop doesn't rely on the skin to hold the breast up, its actually breast tissue thats being brought together to support the breast and hence improves longevity.
