I had a bbl 3 weeks ago. Nothing huge, just enough for shape. I am so uncomfortable sitting /sleeping on my bottom. Feels like 2 tennis balls in there! When should the uncomfortable feeling end and does it ever start to feel like its just always been there?

Answer: Feeling sore after a BBL Most patients have pain to the point of needing prescription pain medication for the first few days. After that patients often feel tender for a week or two. It's not uncommon for people to feel tender for longer.Sometimes 3 to 6 weeks.Typically at six weeks the majority of swelling has settled down. The amount of fullness patients experience is based on the volume of fat placed during the procedure and where the fat has been grafted.most plastic surgeons encourage their patients to sleep on their stomach for the first several weeks. I three weeks you're probably OK sleeping on your back but you may want to check with what your plastic surgeons protocol is.Best,Mats Hagstrom M.D.
