The dimpling of the buttock is improved with fat transfer if done in the appropriate way. Seek out a plastic surgeon who has performed these procedures hundreds of times and has a great number of reviews and before and after pictures.Kenneth Hughes, MDBeverly Hills, CA
A good candidate has enough fat available for transfer in the procedure. The amount of fat that can be transferred in a BBL depends on how much fat the patient has to harvest and the amount of space there is to move the fat into. It is recommended for the patient to have a BMI of 30 or less. If you are too thin, a Brazilian Butt Lift may not be possible.
The results from a BBL last for long time, I have patients who had it done 10 years ago and they still have a nice shape and volume. As long as the patient follows a healthy life style, and it does not loses weight, does work out regularly the results are long lasting. I have not seen that in a patient who follow this will get more cellulite over time, the BBL even improves some of that problem.
I have performed numerous Brazilian Butt Lift procedures in my practice and have had wonderful, lasting results. The problems that you are worried about are avoidable by choosing a surgeon who is a board certified plastic surgeon with experience in the procedure that you desire. Because every body is unique, no Brazilian Butt Lift is exactly the same as any other; this is why experience and board certification are so important. The link below shows some of the results that I have achieved with this procedure. I hope you find the beautiful results that you are looking for!Jaime Perez, MD Plastic Surgery Center of Tampa
What you describe can't happen. The chance of it happening is very individual dependent.Cellulite is caused by fibers that connect the skin to the underlying muscle. As these fibers contract the skin surface develops an irregular contour.adding volume to the area causes the skin to be pushed further from the muscle layer but the connective fibers do not stretch along with the enhanced volume. Some people are genetically prone to developing cellulite while others are not.One thing that is certain is that fat transfer nor liposuction does not help cellulite.various treatments are available such as Val I shape or Venus freeze.None of these are considered highly successful and are often temporary or semi permanent requiring I'm going treatments.
Cottage cheese, cellulite appearance develops when the skin has stretched out and then loosened from weight loss. If you get BBL, it will fill your buttocks skin with fat and stretch out your skin. This will look great, but if you then lose weight and lose the fat, your skin will be dimply. That is why I counsel all of my patients to have their BBL done at their comfort weight and not to gain weight prior to surgery that they are going to lose afterwards.
