I don't think a sauna will help much. That heat and your sweating may actually increase your postoperative swelling. If you decide to do this, it is imperative that you discuss the matter with your surgeon.It is imperative that you seek the advice of a plastic
surgeon who is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and has
extensive experience in buttock augmentation.

A good candidate has enough fat available for transfer in the procedure. The amount of fat that can be transferred in a BBL depends on how much fat the patient has to harvest and the amount of space there is to move the fat into. It is recommended for the patient to have a BMI of 30 or less. If you are too thin, a Brazilian Butt Lift may not be possible.

Heat is only going to cause a lot of swelling, anything which creates heat: hot water, sauna, jacuzzi, bathtub, must be avoided Dr. Cardenas

Getting into a sauna may increase the amount of swelling that you notice.  I personally do not allow this in my patients until they are completely healed.

Thank you very much for your question.Getting into a sauna will probably increase the swelling and fluid a bit, not help it.  Regarding the "safety", I recommend contacting your surgeon to ask their opinion.  They know how well you've recovered at this point, and what your restrictions should be at this point.
