Whenever I smile I feel like my teeth are too small and they barely show. Also, my smile looks forced, which makes my entire face look weird. I'm thinking about getting a lip injection but I'm scared it'll make my teeth disappear and worsen my smile even more. That's why I want to fix my teeth & smile issue first. I have no idea what kind of procedure is appropriate for my case so I would really appreciate some guidance and advice! Thank you!

I would highly recommend getting a formal evaluation with and treatment from a board-certified cosmetic dermatologist and expert in facial sculpting. First of all, at rest you have beautiful lips. When you smile you pull the corners more, not so much at the center. Is your problem tooth show or the shape of your lips?If you like the shape of your lips now, consider adding crowns to your teeth as that gives you a couple millimeters and can really help tooth show.If you don't like the shape or your lip, or the length from nose to red border of the lip, the lip lift is a good alternative. The technique I recommend is a lip lift.  A lip lift does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners.  Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.

You are correct in thinking that lip fillers will cover a larger portion of your teeth, so that would be too helpful There is a procedure that could be done called upper lip lift which involves reducing the height of the lip by some milimiters making it shorter The scar is hidden in the base of the nose, recovery time is about 1 week
