I’ve always considered my left to be my good side due to the awkward bump on my right. I’ve been asked by a provider if I’ve had a nose job previously but, no just born this way. In a perfect outcome my right would look like my left and all around be more refined… what does something like that cost and can I achieve this only by surgery?

Answer: Rhinoplasty Hello! Thank you for your question. As far as I can see from your photos It may sometimes not be possible for both sides to be equal due to facial asymmetry, but it is possible to obtain a much more equal and compatible nose with your face with rhinoplasty operation, for this I recommend rhinoplasty operation. It would be better face to face consultation. Best Regards!

Answer: Refining Nasal Asymmetry: Is Surgery the Only Way? It’s completely understandable to want your right profile to match the side you feel most confident about. What you’re describing sounds like natural nasal asymmetry—very common, but often noticeable to the person themselves more than others. For permanent refinement and true correction of structural differences, surgical rhinoplasty remains the most effective option. Bony and cartilaginous bumps cannot be reshaped without surgery, and non-surgical alternatives (like filler) are generally not recommended for this type of concern, especially when size reduction or contour precision is the goal. As for cost, primary rhinoplasty typically ranges around $3,500, though this varies based on location, surgeon experience, and facility fees. Consulting with a board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon will provide you with both a clear diagnosis and a customized plan. I hope this helps you better understand your options and what to expect moving forward. — Güray Yeşiladalı, MD
