I had revision rhinoplasty because of nasal collapse from a botched previous rhinoplasty. it’s been 10 months since my revision and now I have two visible bumps on the right side of my nose and I’m concerned that I’ve been botched again. I want to know what caused this because my doctor hasn’t explained anything and says it’s “swelling”. I’m really unhappy and concerned, and especially about the nostril assymetry. Is this something that can be easily fixed?

Revision rhinoplasties are some of the most challenging cases that plastic surgeons perform. I would wait at least 18 months after revisionary rhinoplasty to make any conclusion about the outcome. Regardless, I would either return to your surgeon or seek a second opinion from an experience rhinoplasty REAL plastic surgeon with specific training in this area.

The visible piece of cartilage involving your left tip is is called a bossa, and these are associated with thin skin. Depending upon your examination, Micro droplet. Silikon 1000 may be considered for achieving a less operated nasal appearance by adding volume to places where there are indentations and visible cartilage. Hope this Helps.
