Hi, I’m 32, and my under-eye area looks awful. 2 years ago, I started getting a weird rash that made my face itchy and my eyes red, & dry/flaky. That rash is gone, but now my under-eye area has a crepey texture that won’t disappear. It makes me look much older than I am. I’ve tried Botox, and it only looked better for about a month before the wrinkles returned. Can PRP can help - based on my photos, does this look like a viable option?

Answer: Under eye texture You can consider PRP injections. Another option may be Morpheus8 which uses RF and microneedling to build collagen. Three treatments are recommended for optimal results in improving skin tone and texture. See a board certified plastic surgeon's office for an evaluation.

Answer: PRP for under eyes The under eye areas is very sensitive, so you do have to be careful what you use to treat the skin in this area. Even topical skin care products can cause irritation and worsen the condition if you are really sensitive. PRP is great option because it is are made from your own blood with almost zero risk of having an adverse reaction. PRF is a preparation of PRP which does not even contain anticoagulants so it is even safer and may work better than traditional PRP. The trick is not to put in too much otherwise you can get swelling that lasts for days. There is also the risk of bruising from the needle. You need to do multiple treatments to get noticeable results. An even better treatment is a nanofat transfer. It works like PRP but is much more potent, you can see results after one treatment and it lasts for years.
