I got my primary rhinoplasty in December 2023. It seems that my doctor shaved down the bone but didn’t do much with the tip. My nose looks over projected and upturned for my face. Also there’s a bump on the side from the frontal view. I have brought up my concern and doctor offered to deproject my nose in-office, which I do not feel safe about. Please see all photos.

Answer: Dr Paweł Szychta At this stage, swelling can make your nose appear overprojected or upturned. Residual bumps may also be due to swelling or incomplete bone reduction. It's best to wait 9–12 months for full healing before considering revisions. For significant concerns, consult your surgeon or seek a second opinion rather than opting for in-office adjustments.

Answer: How you feel is how you feel By this time( one year out), your rhinoplasty result is pretty close to being completely healed. You should expect your final result to look very similar to what you have posted. If you feel like your tip is up and overly projected( my personal aesthetic agrees with you), you will need another procedure to adjust this. In my hands, I would not be able to do this comfortably under local anesthesia. Best of luck
