Hi @Loving34. You are an excellent candidate for a rhinoplasty. I recommend seeing an expert rhinoplasty specialist for an in person examination. There are several options for you that can be determined after examination. In my practice, I utilize piezosurgery. Piezosurgery is a more gentle technique that allows for greater precision. Less bruising and swelling is common with Piezosurgery. In a typical rhinoplasty, a hammer and chisel technique is performed leading to more inadvertent fractures. Best of Luck,Dr. Nima
Good Afternoon! Rhinoplasty is a great option to improve the harmony within the face. Anesthesia is very safe for otherwise healthy individuals. Most rhinoplasties are performed under general anesthesia meaning you are fully asleep for the procedure. Afterwards, some fatigue and nausea are expected, but these quickly improve within a day or two in most. Long-term issues from anesthesia are very uncommon. Your surgeon will determine your ability to undergo surgery along with the opinion of the Anesthesiologist before proceeding. Hope this helps!
Hello, and thank you for your question. Based on your photos, you seem to be a good candidate for rhinoplasty. Your nose appears to be overprojected with a minor dorsal hump and a bulbous tip –these are all common issues that rhinoplasty can fix. General anesthesia is overall very safe. Most patients, even those with significant health conditions, can be administered with general anesthesia without serious problems. The best way to achieve the peace of mind you need before your surgery would be to talk with your surgeon. Communication is always key. A reputable board-certified facial plastic surgeon should be able to address all your concerns and goals and put your mind at ease before surgery. Hope that helps!
Based on the photos, you are a great candidate for rhinoplasty. The bridge and tip can be refined to be smaller and better shaped. Anesthesia is very safe these days - statistically safer than driving your car around. If you don't want surgery, then filler can be used to smooth the bridge out some. Be sure to see a rhinoplasty expert for consultation.
Thank you for your question. You are an excellent candidate for rhinoplasty. I think rhinoplasty is one of the most beautifying surgeries that we do as plastic surgeons. A large portion of my practice is dedicated to rhinoplasty surgery. In your case, you have an overt projecting nose with a dorsal hump and most likely a bulbous/boxy tip. It is important to only see plastic surgeons with extensive experience in rhinoplasty, ie perform at least 6 per month and have performed hundreds of cases. Also, critically evaluate on-line galleries to see if their art form resonates with yours. Rhinoplasty is definitely a grey haired plastic surgeon's sport. Best wishes to you.
