Based on the photos, you are a great candidate for rhinoplasty. The bridge and tip can be refined to be smaller and better shaped. Anesthesia is very safe these days - statistically safer than driving your car around. If you don't want surgery, then filler can be used to smooth the bridge out some. Be sure to see a rhinoplasty expert for consultation.
Hi @Loving34. You are an excellent candidate for a rhinoplasty. I recommend seeing an expert rhinoplasty specialist for an in person examination. There are several options for you that can be determined after examination. In my practice, I utilize piezosurgery. Piezosurgery is a more gentle technique that allows for greater precision. Less bruising and swelling is common with Piezosurgery. In a typical rhinoplasty, a hammer and chisel technique is performed leading to more inadvertent fractures. Best of Luck,Dr. Nima
Hello, and thank you for your question. Based on your photos, you seem to be a good candidate for rhinoplasty. Your nose appears to be overprojected with a minor dorsal hump and a bulbous tip –these are all common issues that rhinoplasty can fix. General anesthesia is overall very safe. Most patients, even those with significant health conditions, can be administered with general anesthesia without serious problems. The best way to achieve the peace of mind you need before your surgery would be to talk with your surgeon. Communication is always key. A reputable board-certified facial plastic surgeon should be able to address all your concerns and goals and put your mind at ease before surgery. Hope that helps!
Thank you for your question. You are an excellent candidate for rhinoplasty. I think rhinoplasty is one of the most beautifying surgeries that we do as plastic surgeons. A large portion of my practice is dedicated to rhinoplasty surgery. In your case, you have an overt projecting nose with a dorsal hump and most likely a bulbous/boxy tip. It is important to only see plastic surgeons with extensive experience in rhinoplasty, ie perform at least 6 per month and have performed hundreds of cases. Also, critically evaluate on-line galleries to see if their art form resonates with yours. Rhinoplasty is definitely a grey haired plastic surgeon's sport. Best wishes to you.
Based on these photos, you are a very good candidate for rhinoplasty. In person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon, expert in rhinoplasty, is recommended. Good luck.
Good Afternoon! Rhinoplasty is a great option to improve the harmony within the face. Anesthesia is very safe for otherwise healthy individuals. Most rhinoplasties are performed under general anesthesia meaning you are fully asleep for the procedure. Afterwards, some fatigue and nausea are expected, but these quickly improve within a day or two in most. Long-term issues from anesthesia are very uncommon. Your surgeon will determine your ability to undergo surgery along with the opinion of the Anesthesiologist before proceeding. Hope this helps!
Are you a good candidate for a Rhinoplasty? Based on the photos you show it appears that your nose is somewhat long and over projecting, with a small dorsal hump and bulbous tip. These are the usual aesthetic issues that are addressed in a routine rhinoplasty based on standard textbook norms of female aesthetics. As to your fear of anesthesia, if you are in good health, fairly young, and not too overweight, and if you are in the hands of a board-certified anesthesiologist the risk of serious anesthesia complications is extremely low
From your photos I note that you appear to demonstrate a high nasal bridge with a minimal hump deformity and a boxy nasal tip with a slight droop.A rhinoplasty will lower the bridge and eliminate the hump, creating a gentle feminine curve, and add definition to and elevate the nasal tip.Death after cosmetic surgery is rare with 0.25-0.50 deaths per 100,000 cosmetic procedures. The lifetime risk of death from an automobile accident is 1/107. The procedure is quite safe.Visit a board certified plastic surgeon for evaluation and discussion.Best wishes...

We recommend that you see a facial plastic surgeon or plastic surgeon with background training in ENT to evaluate both the functional and aesthetic need of your nose.
