Good day! I am looking into have a rhinoplasty. When I was a toddler I broke my nose and I have been having trouble breathing ever since. I haven’t had a consultation with a plastic surgeon yet, but I have been told it seems as if my nose’s bridge has collapsed. Could you maybe provide me information with how I could know if that is the case and whether I could fix that with rhinoplasty?
Answer: Rhinoplasty In A Patient With Previous Nasal Trauma We recommend that you see a facial plastic surgeon or plastic surgeon with background training in ENT to evaluate both the functional and aesthetic need of your nose.

Answer: Thinking about rhinoplasty? Here's what you need to know Hello, and thank you for your question. Based on your images and description, you may benefit from a rhinoplasty, which can address both your aesthetic and functional concerns. It is best to have your nose evaluated by a reputable board-certified facial plastic surgeon. Especially since you mentioned having had an accident, your surgeon must examine the internal structure of your nose. I recommend consulting with a facial plastic surgeon with a strong rhinoplasty portfolio. Such experts will have a deep understanding of the aesthetic and functional elements of the nose, helping you achieve the results you desire while ensuring your nose is also functioning at its best. During your consultation, your surgeon will evaluate your nose, recommend the best surgical approach, and ensure the best possible results.

Answer: Recommending a consult with a plastic surgeon and maybe CT scan of your nose Based on your photos, there is a bump on the nose that can be due to your accident. I would recommend a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon who does a lot of noses. During the consultation, they will conduct a thorough exam of your nose and be able to answer questions about your airway and whether the inside of your nose is collapsed. They may get a CT scan to evaluate the bones and airway and decide if the trauma you had as a child affected your breathing or not. From an aesthetic standpoint, a rhinoplasty can improve the contour of your nasal bridge and make the tip more refined, yielding an overall prettier nose. Typically, a plastic surgeon will address breathing issues during rhinoplasty, but you can ask during your consultation if that is the case. I hope that answers your question.

Answer: Rhinoplasty Hi, The old trauma to your nose has caused the bone to heal in a way that has created a bump over the dorsum of your nose. This can be fixed with surgical rhinoplasty. It is better for you to consult with a facial plastic surgeon to better assess you and determine the best option for you.

Answer: See a specialist I would start by seeing a surgeon (who specializes in the face) and having a consultation. They will be able give you answers after a thorough assessment. Seeing as though you had an injury and have breathing problems, there is also a chance the rhinoplasty may be covered by insurance. Getting your breathing fixed should be a priority as well. Find a doctor you trust tell them about your concerns. See what they can do for you.
