(the first collage is 2 before/un-edited photos) trying to narrow down what i will decide to show my surgeon once i find someone. i know some of them are very similar so i may be obsessing too much on small details, but i'd like to go in with an edit that's as close as i can get to the result i want. overall i want: - natural and proportionate to my other features - straight with *maybe* a very slight curve - smaller overall, not too projected after - lifted tip
Answer: Hmm. No offense, but I don't love any of them! More... Pardon for the late answer. Sometimes when I answer a question, I look to see if that member has asked a previous question! All of the morphs you posted look too projecting, and too long, to me. When you lower a bump on the bridge, it has the effect of making the nose look longer from top to bottom. And when you de-project a nose, bringing it closer to the face, it has the effect of making it look longer, too. I'm wondering what you would think of a morph where the nose was a bit more de-projected and the tip were noticeably elevated from the position in these morphs! Just my two cents!

Answer: Thinking about Rhinoplasty? What you need to know before booking your consultation Thank you for providing images along with your question. The nose that is best for you will all depend on your goals and preferences. It is good you prefer a nose that looks natural and proportionate to your features because ultimately, you’d still want to look like yourself. That said, it is best to consult with a reputable board-certified facial plastic surgeon, particularly one with a strong rhinoplasty portfolio. Such experts will have the optimal skills, knowledge of the most advanced surgical techniques, as well as artistry and knowledge of facial aesthetics, harmony, and proportion, helping you achieve the most natural-looking results. During your consultation, your surgeon can assess your facial profile, recommend the best approach, use digital photography to show projected results, and ensure the best possible outcome.

Answer: What nose best suits your face? What nosebest suits your face? Ultimately which nose you will be most happy with depends on your own taste and preference as much as physical features such as your body size and facial features. In the first edit the result is a very “natural“ looking nose while I think the third is the “cutest“ looking nose. Ultimately it is a matter of taste, but there are some factors which contribute to the choice. If someone is very tall with very angular severe features, whose look would be described by such words as striking or exotic, choice one would be better. If someone is medium sized or petite with very pretty “girly“ features then edit number three would be the most appropriate. Since most people do not fit one extreme or the other the choice boils down to taste. The choice is primarily the patients, but the surgeon will often lend guidance based on his own aesthetic norms and experience with prior patients with similar features.

Answer: Which nose edit best suits my face? (Photo) Hi SG, It is great that you are detailed with your rhinoplasty goals. You certainly should share these with your rhinoplasty surgeon. I personally like the profile aesthetics of #3. Of course, the nose is 3 dimensional and all views must be considered as well as your anatomic structure. Choose your rhinoplasty surgeon most carefully. Good luck and be well. Michael Persky, MD Encino, CA
