Was told I need an extended tummy tuck and diastasis recti repair. Would lipo360 and J-Plasma be enough? (photos)

I’m 5’2. 31 years old and had 2 children. Currently weight 142lbs due to recent weight gain. Usually, 135lbs. I love my body just want it sculpted and not exaggerated. Please advise. I feel lipo360 and Jplasma May be enough. *Eval was not done in person.

Thank you for your question and photos. Based on these photos, you would have a very good result with VASER Hi Def Lipo 360 degrees. J-plasma or Renuvion might be needed, but that is a determination after an in person physical examination. You do not need a tummy tuck, let alone an extended one.

based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a TT. Full tummy tuck should tighten your abdominal muscles and remove the excess skin. Flanks liposuction would give you a better shape. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

Although I do not think you would need an extended tummy tuck, the best procedure for your stomach will depend on a thorough discussion of your goals - liposuction alone or in conjunction with a tummy tuck.

Thank you for your questions and photos. You are correct that liposuction 360 would reduce any excess fat and sculpt your body. It may leave some loose skin and tissue that you won't like though. The tummy tuck would remove any of the redundant tissue and skin and the rectus plication would bring your muscles together that were separated with your pregnancies. These procedures work together to give a natural sculpted look. I recommend you schedule a consultation with board certified Plastic Surgeon. They will be able to assess your anatomy and put together a plan that will best meet your goals. You just might be a candidate for lipo360 w or w/o J-Plasma over an extended TT (which I do not think you are a candidate for!). I am not a believer the J-Plasma or BodyTite therapies really tighten skin much. But in your case you need minimal tightening. Expect fees in $8,000 rages because of the costs to use the added J-Plasma to the lipo.

Your photos do not illustrate the need for an extended tummy tuck.  A standard tummy tuck with liposuction for contouring could be considered which would repair your diastasis, as well as remove excess fat and skin, resulting in a flatter, tighter tummy.  If you are not concerned with correcting the muscle separation you would have improvement with lipo360 and J Plasma.  The result would not be as complete as with a tummy tuck, but it may be acceptable to you.  I encourage you to visit with a few board certified plastic surgeons near you to hear varying opinions and learn more about recommendations based on your surgical goals.
