got Latera implants/turbinate reduction/deviated septum repair 2.5 years ago. I could breathe a little better after sx although inconsistently. The Latera implants never dissolved and now they are even more prominent, worse at certain times of day with a red nose and increased puffyness as seen in photo. Second opinion rx’d Azelastaine, I can breathe well for first time ever. I hate the bumps but unsure about sx incase the implants are helping, may also have connective tissue disorder

There are many reasons for this contour irregularity. The most common that I see is a disruption of the smooth transition from the nasal bones to the upper lateral cartilages in the mid-vault (the middle part of the bridge/dorsum). I would go back to your surgeon and express your concern.
