I've undergone a revision rhinoplasty 1 year and 2 months ago, and the doctor used graft from my rib on my nose bridge. My nose was straight after the surgery, but then I noticed a bump on the nose bridge, right where the graft is, that didn't subside with time. The doctor advised me to massage the nose on daily basis, which I did, but the bump is still there, and my nose looks worse than before surgery. Could I use steroids injections to soften the bump?

Answer: A permanent non-surgical nose job may be considered for camouflaging a visible cartilage graft.
I can see your concerns, and my suggestion would be to meet with a reputable rhinoplasty specialist near you for a second opinion. If you can bring a copy of your operative report and preoperative photos, that would make for a useful adjunct to your visit. If you are looking for subtle...
I would just recommend a rhinoplasty. Most of the "bump" is actually cartilage. The nasal bones merely have a "bony cap" extension over the most prominent part of the cartilage. Usually rasping only removes the bony cap and other measures are needed to fully address the dorsal convexity.
Let's speak about this. The rib graft pocket is above the bone it seems. This makes the graft mobile. We can likely address this in the office with local anesthesia.
