years ago a doctor unnecessarily took fat from my already thin legs for a bbl. They look like sticks now. No matter how hard I weight train my upper body gains weight and muscle as well and looks so disproportionate. It’s unfortunate because the doctor did not need to remove fat from inner thigh at all. My question is, can I get fat transferred to my inner thigh? Will that be a natural result? I’m 39 and athletic
Answer: Fat transfer Thank you for your inquiry! Fat can be harvested and transferred to inner/outer thighs to add volume. We recommend scheduling a consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to make sure you're a candidate for this procedure. We would love to meet with you virtually or in person to discuss your goals and make a surgical plan for you!

Answer: Fat transfer to inner thigh Fat transfer to the inner thigh can provide a natural-looking result, but several factors influence the outcome: Technique and Skill of the Surgeon: The skill and experience of the surgeon performing the fat transfer are crucial. A skilled surgeon can ensure that the fat is transferred evenly and in a way that complements your body's natural contours. Amount of Fat Transferred: The amount of fat transferred should be appropriate for your body type and the specific area being treated. Too little fat may not achieve the desired results, while too much can lead to an unnatural appearance. Integration with Existing Tissue: The transferred fat needs to integrate well with the existing tissue of the inner thigh to create a smooth and natural contour. Healing and Recovery: Proper healing and recovery are essential for achieving a natural result. Following post-operative care instructions from your surgeon can help optimize your outcomes. Realistic Expectations: It's important to have realistic expectations about what fat transfer can achieve. While it can enhance contours and improve symmetry, it may not drastically change the underlying structure of the thigh. Consultation with a Qualified Surgeon: Consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon who has experience in fat transfer procedures is crucial. They can assess your individual anatomy, discuss your goals, and recommend the best approach for achieving a natural-looking result. Overall, fat transfer to the inner thigh can be a viable option for achieving a natural contour improvement, but it requires careful consideration of the factors mentioned above and collaboration with a skilled surgeon to achieve the desired outcome.

Answer: Fat transfer This is difficult to answer without an in person evaluation and discussion of your desired results. If you are wanting to add a small amount for contour improvement this may be achievable. Understand that if you are wanting a fat graft, the donated fat must be harvested from another area. I encourage you to meet with a board certified plastic surgeon near you for a consultation to learn more.

Answer: Fat If you are thin and athletic, you may not have much fat, if any, to transfer. Plus, if you are athletic, you may lose this fat fairly quickly. If you have loose skin, consider minimally invasive radiofrequency treatment like Renuvion to tighten the skin. Photos would have been very helpful.

Answer: Nhancing Inner Thighs: Achieving Natural Results with Fat Transfer Hello court81, I'm truly sorry to hear about your disappointing experience with your previous BBL procedure. It's understandable that you're seeking a more natural-looking result, especially considering the disproportionate appearance you've described. Fat transfer to the inner thighs can indeed provide a more balanced and proportionate appearance to the lower body. To achieve natural-looking results, your plastic surgeon will need to approach the procedure with precision and careful technique. One essential aspect is the use of a smaller cannula during the fat transfer process. This allows for more precise resection of the transferrable fat from the donor areas, minimizing the risk of overcorrection or irregularities. Additionally, your surgeon will need to inject the transferred fat from the deeper plane to the shallower plane within the inner thigh area. This technique helps ensure a smoother transition between the treated and untreated areas, resulting in a more natural contour. It's also important for your surgeon to slightly overfill the target area to account for the natural absorption of some of the transferred fat over time. By strategically planning the injection and accounting for potential fat loss, your surgeon can optimize the longevity and effectiveness of the results. I encourage you to schedule a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon experienced in fat transfer procedures. During your consultation, you can discuss your goals and concerns. Sincerely, Dr. Katzen
