Am I candidate for dermal fillers?

Hi - I'm a 47 year-old caucasian male. I feel as though there's sagging or loss of volume in my nasolabial folds (possibly asymmetrically) as well as under my eyes. Would dermal fillers make an improvement? How many total syringes should I expect to need to see an improvement? (the photo is raw with a DSLR, no filter or skin smoothing)

Fillers will absolutely help, although I anticipate that given your age, you may also need to be realistic about how much of an improvement you can get with filler alone vs. a surgical procedure. Just from looking at this half photo straight on, I could reasonably see at least 2 syringes (one on each side) to start but most likely more than that, and again it will not lift any "sagging" tissue.

The short answer to your question is YES.  HA dermal fillers have been used for years by experienced filler injectors for contouring cheeks, Improving under-eye hollows and tear troughs and for elevating and smoothing smile lines. Possibly two syringes of a robust HA volumizing filler would be needed to enhance the cheeks and improve the infraorbital area. And likely a syringe of a low viscosity, cohesive, malleable HA filler would do for the smile lines. You would be wise to consult with a board certified, cosmetic dermatologist filler expert. An experienced injector can give you a "Wow!" reaction in an approximately 20-30 minute treatment session. Hope this helps and best of luck.

Yes you appear to be a candidate for dermal fillers.  An in person evaluation is best but you can anticipate between 3-4 syringes to address the nasolabial folds as well as the under eye area.  In addition you can consider Morpheus8.  This treatment combines RF technology with microneedling to improve overall skin tone and texture.
