I’m currently a 34 DD,after the lift and the implant exchange around what cup size should I expect to be? I currently have 325/355cc saline implants.
Answer: Size Usually, 150 cc's give an increase of 1 cup. With the lift, excess skin is being removed, so you may drop down to a D cup. I doubt you will be any smaller unless you have a great deal of excess skin. If you want to be a C cup, you might consider going smaller. Your surgeon can best guide you with this.

Answer: Implant size Dear CKSXOXO_, breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small. You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals. Answer: One cup size At size 34, each 100 cc of implant corresponds to 1 cup size change. You would go down approximately by 1 cup size, if you go down 100 cc and end up a 34 D. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Assessing size The implant you are describing is approximately 1/3 smaller so you will lose 1/3 of the implant size. D cup is estimated to be approximately 450 mL. If you add an additional 350 mL of implant volume then it makes your total breast size approximately 900 mL. Subtracting 100 mL from this is about 11%. I don’t like using cup size because it tends to be subjective and therefore potentially inaccurate. To me the best way to communicate breast size is by using pictures. Each plastic surgeon will have their own way of guiding patients through the implant selection process. Some plastic surgeons do it better than others. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
