Breast implant revision - will it cause more trauma if the capsules are removed?

Hi dr’s , wanted to ask I had two previous breast implant revisions no capsule work just simple replacement 330 cc to 450 cc , kinda disappointed I want bigger boobs prob 550/600 cc’s dr said it fits my breast but doesn’t want to remove capsules with implant as it’s my third revision he said it will cause more trauma if it’s removed is it true? Has Anyone Had A Patient done 3/4/5 breast implant revision for size change and didn’t remove their capsules If it’s been 10 years having first implant?

generally speaking, if your capsules are thin then there is no need to remove them. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.

If your capsules are thin, there is no need for removal, especially if you are going with larger implants. Your own tissue will stretch and thin more and the capsules do give some support.  I am not a fan of large heavy implants because they will stretch and thin your own tissue and will sag. You might reconsider this decision.
