In my opinion, there would not be a problem treating a patient with Botox and Dysport at the same treatment session. Using both products at the same time should not cause a problem.
Hi,This is okay to do. I have a few clients that prefer Botox in one area and Dysport in others. I will do them both in same session.
Hi @marblepear. This is an excellent question. Yes, Botox and Dysport can be performed on the same day in different areas.Best of luck,Dr. Nima
We've been regularly using 2 brands on our patients for years. We use Dysport across the areas that need for wider spread and Botox or Jeuveau for areas that need tighter control. Please see the attached link for an explanation of the differences of all the FDA approved brands.
Hello marblepear! My name is Jessica, I am a physician assistant, and one of the providers at Shah Facial Plastics. Although it is not common to combine 2 different neuromodulators at the same session, if you have a preference for one over another, it is possible. I highly recommend scheduling an in-person consultation in order to better assess the areas of concern and discuss an appropriate treatment plan to help achieve your aesthetic goals. Our office phone number is: (312) 944-0117. I hope this helps and best of luck!
Hello and thank you for your question!Different neuromodulators such as Dysport and Botox can be used in different muscle groups during the same day! For example Dysport on the forehead and Botox in between the eyebrows. Often injectors will have preferences of different products in different area as well!
Hi, thank you for your question! Yes, botox and dysport can be performed on the same day in different areas.
Yes, different neurotoxins like Botox and Dysport can be used in different areas at the same time/same day. Similar to hyaluronic-acid based fillers.
Yes, both Botox and Dysport can be injected in different areas, all in the same treatment day. For example, I have a patient who prefers Botox injected in her glabella, forehead, and crow's feet, while she also prefers Dysport for her masseters and neckbands, all in the same appointment.
Yes it would be fine to have Botox injected to treat one area and Dysport used for another. You can have this done in the same day. Be sure to see an expert injector for your treatment.
As you know, Factor V Leiden is an inherited condition that can increase your risk of getting clots. As Botox does not interfere with blood clotting, it is safe for you to have Botox. There is absolutely no contraindication for you to get Botox.
Many patients enhance the benefits from their ptosis surgery by adding Botox treatments. Your surgeon is the best one to advise you on when you can begin this treatment as she/he is most familiar with how you've been progressing through recovery. Typically after a few months you can resume Botox.
I'm sorry you are unhappy with your Botox treatment. The effects of Botox are not permanent and you should gradually return to your previous look. On average Botox lasts three to four months but this can vary by patient. There is no reversal agent for Botox.
