Should I be worried about my silicone breast implant?

Dear smh263,it is really hard to tell what is the problem based on your description. I would recommend you to consult with your plastic surgeon. I would say it would obviously be best to follow up with your plastic surgeon for a good exam.  In most cases, as long as the implant is soft and there are no signs of capsular contracture, at 9 months out, I would not be overly concerned.The best thing to do is to go see your plastic surgeon so he/she can determine if there is any concern.  As far as the mold illness diagnosis, I would say to discuss that with your doctor (rheumatologist?).Hope that helps.

You should not worry about mold and the breast implant; I don't know what mold illness is but if your concerned about mold you should see a specialist. As for your left breast implant you should go back to your plastic surgeon and get his opinion; if you like you can also get more opinions but we need photos and and in person examination is alwasy the best thing to do if you want answers. Thank you for your question. There is no correlation between silicone implants and autoimmune disease. Sounds as though your muscle is compressing the implant. Please see your plastic surgeon for an exam and explanation.
