Incision pain 3 months post-op, is this normal?

I had 300cc gel implants placed under the muscle in February. On my smaller side, I've had pulling-type pain/stinging at my incision pretty much since surgery. It almost feels like my incision is opening, although I know it's not. The pain usually only occurs at night with or without a bra, and usually when I change positions. my results are great and natural. Everything has settled. Just wondering if this is normal.. can't seem to find any other posts on it! thanks!

Thank you for sharing your question and I am sorry to hear of your persistent pain. After three months your incision discomfort should have resolved and I would see your surgeon for an in-person evaluation.  With an examination the cause can be diagnosied - nerve issue, musculoskeletal, mondor's, suture - and treatment recommendation.  Hope this helps.

Incisional pain is uncommon 3 months after breast augmentation surgery. There could be a retained suture to remove or simply scar adherence which could be treated  with massage. Please see your plastic surgeon for an examination diagnosis and recommended treatment.
