For patients who get bbl will the results be lost if they exercise same as before? I do a lot of jogging, walking, cardio everyday which I enjoy and find good for my mood but after bbl could this damage results? Would the fat in new location respond differently to these exercises than fat that was previously in ambdomen / waist / flanks?

Answer: BBL Thank you for your question. Keep in mind as you workout if you lose weight the fat can be lost anywhere including your buttocks. So if you do a lot of cardio that could shrink the fat you had transferred into the buttocks. Exercise is good but I would keep that in mind as you plan your workouts once your plastic surgeon has cleared you to do so. Hope this helps,Dr. Newall

Answer: Workout after a BBL Hello, thanks so much for your interesting question. After a BBL it is recommended not to do a lot of cardio for at least a couple of months, you need to keep your weight stable as much as possible. Good luckRespectfully, Dr. Jaime Campos-Leon Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
