Using radio frequency to do a Brazilian butt lift?

There are several companies in Atlanta offering non-surigical Brazilian butt lifts, they claim to use non-surgical radio frequency treatments to help lift and tone the buttocks. How safe is this? How effective is this? Who should be performing the produce?

This sounds like an absolute scam to me.  My guess is that these are "cosmetic doctors" who have purchased a radiofrequency device and are looking for any excuse they can to use it.  Radiofrequency yields very subtle results.  I myself have a radiofrequency machine, but only recommend it for appropriately selected patients who need a very, very slight lift.  To expect this very gentle effect to be able to lift a buttocks is optimistic to the point of being dishonest.  Steer clear.Best of luck!Dr. SubbioBoard-Certified Plastic SurgeonNewtown Square/Philadelphia, PA

Hello and Great Question.  I appreciate the time you are spending researching this procedure.  My name is Dr. Matthew J. Nykiel.  I am a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, a Fellowship Trained Cosmetic Surgeon, and a Butt Augmentation Specialist.

I use external RF (Inmode) to tighten skin, treat cellulite and melt fat among other things.  It can produce a modest lift in the buttock area but nothing like fat grafting or implants.  Ignore corporate hustles and visit a few plastic surgeons in Atlanta for sound advice.

Please be careful because there is a lot of hype out there, especially by non-plastic surgeons who try to lure patients into having procedures done non-surgically. The safest, preferred and most natural way of buttock enhancement and contouring is using fat transfer vial liposuction. Radio frequency.actually burns the fat. You should consult with a Board Certified PS with lots of experience performing buttock enlargement using fat transfer. Good luck!
