Will filler under eye affect my Rhinoplasty?

I'm saving money for a Rhinoplasthy is it okay for me to get some fillers in my undereyes before a Rhinoplasthy? I probably won't get a rhino for another 10 months and my undereyes are really bordering me, I'm 34 and always had hollow undereyes and puffy eyelids ( it's getting worst with age , I'm 34) would it affect my rhinoplasty or my consultation at all if I have fillers in my undereyes and Botox on my eyebrows during my rhino consultation/procedure? Thank you

Filler will not affect your rhinoplasty.  However, I personally would not recommend fillers if you are trying to save money for a rhinoplasty.  The cost of fillers can really add up quickly, and if money is an issue,  I don't think fillers are worth the money especially in a young person like yourself.  Hope this helps.

Filler is a great option for addressing the tear trough region under the eyes. It should not have any impact on your rhinoplasty procedure. I hope you like your results!

Thank you for your question.  Fillers, usually Restylane, to fill in the tear troughs under the eyes should not be a problem in a patient undergoing a rhinoplasty, however I would not do this immediately before or after a rhinoplasty because of the swelling that can happen after a rhinoplasty.I would suggest you find a facial plastic surgeon certified by the AAFPRS and ABFPRS to further discuss your options. Temporary hyaluronic fillers like Restylane for the undereyes should not be a problem in a patient undergoing a rhinoplasty.I would suggest you find a plastic surgeon certified by the American
Board of Plastic Surgery and ideally a member of the American Society for
Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) that you trust and are comfortable with. You
should discuss your concerns with that surgeon in person.

It is acceptable to undergo a rhinoplasty at any time after cheek and eyelid fillers. Rhinoplasty is one of the hardest operations to perform in the entire field of plastic surgery, so choose your surgeon very wisely based on experience

It should generally be fine to have fillers under the eye without having any ill effects.  Although the look of your face and cheek will change with the upcoming rhinoplasty, I don't see any problems with conservative filling of the periorbital hollows.  Hope this helps.

Thanks for your question. Having filler to the orbital rim is a good way of disguising puffiness and hollowness under the eyes. It wouldn't affect the rhinoplasty procedure at all, but you may end up with more under-eye puffiness following surgery than someone that didn't have filler. This happens because filler causes scarring in the deep tissues around the eyes (this is unavoidable and doesn't hurt the result). The scar tissue will impede fluid draining from the area. You can still absolutely have nasal surgery; just be aware that your recovery may be a little more involved than normal. Good luck!

This should not have any effect on your rhinoplasty consultation. The most common filler used under the eyes will be restylane, and even if there were problems, it can be dissolved within 24 hours. I would recommend visiting with an experienced injector and make sure that fillers are the correct way to go. Best of luck
