I had my braces taken off 1 month ago and I need to strictly wear my retainers. I am 1 day post op rhinoplasty and I had osteonomies to narrow my nose. Is it safe to wear my retainers ? They put pressure on my entire face and I am extrmely worried that it will affect my rhinoplasty and cause my nose to be wide again or even crooked. I do not know what to do. Thank you in advance

It really depends on why the strut is displaced. It may be too long and to one side of the nasal spine for example. It is fairly easy to straighten it under local but the surgeon needs to evaluate the reason for the displacement and correct that also.
