Thank you for your question. As a board-certified facial plastic surgeon many patients come to me with similar inquiries in regards to reshaping the size of their nostrils. Prior to scheduling a rhinoplasty procedure a thorough examination should be done to provide the best recommendations for your aesthetic goals. It appears you may benefit from a tip-revision rhinoplasty, which includes decreasing the lower lateral nasal cartilages and implementing precision sutures to refine the nasal tip. This procedure can be coupled with an Alarplasty, a technique utilized in cases of nostril reduction. in terms of costs, the pricing varies from practice to practice. It is best to schedule a consultation with the facial plastic surgeon of your choice for full procedural understanding. Good luck!

Your surgeon canaccomplish this by trimming, suturing, and reshaping the cartilage in yourlower nose. You may also benefit from a decreasing the width of your alar base. a rhinoplasty can address the size and shape of your nose, including your nostrils. A proper consultation should be done to discuss your needs and desires (including a septoplasty). In general the cost is about $5000 to $5500
You need surgery on your nostrils and nasal tip. It will cost $ 5000-$ 6000. Exact cost can only be determined after an exam.
Rhinoplasty could make the tip of your nose slightly more narrow and smaller. The thicker your skin is, the more swelling there is after surgery. It is difficult to make a large nose tremendously smaller, but there can be some slight modifications so the appearance is more to your liking. Regarding cost, it varies from region to region, surgery Center, and surgeon. There are also at associated fees for the operating room anesthesia. I would reach out to a few offices to confirm prices that are all-inclusive.
A rhinoplasty can change the size of your nose and your nostrils. The costs are going to vary from surgeon to surgeon and region to region. Dear bigernose, The price of surgery will vary from surgeon to surgeon and the area you are searching in. I would start with some complimentary consultations with some experts in ethnic rhinoplasty. Imaging can be performed to show you the changes, the techniques which will be used will be discussed and a fee will be quoted at that time. Best regards, Michael V. Elam, M.D.
Thank you for your question and photograph.I would recommend scheduling a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in rhinoplasty so that they can perform a nasal examination on you and give you the best recommendations. From what I can tell from your photographs, you may benefit from a tip rhinoplasty which includes trimming the lower lateral cartilages and placing precision sutures to refine the tip and make it look more pleasing along with an alarplasty which is the technique that is commonly used for nostril reduction. This procedure consists of making an incision on the inside or outside of the nostrils then removing a specific amount of tissue to reduce the size and/or make more symmetrical. In regards to cost, this varies based on surgeon and location. I can tell you that the RealSelf average cost for a rhinoplasty is between $7,000-$8,000. Best of luck in your endeavors!Sincerely,James Fernau, MD, FACSBoard Certified ENTBoard Certified Plastic SurgeryMember of ASPS, ASAPS, ISAPS, The Rhinoplasty Society, AAFPRS, OTO/HNS, ASLMS, International Federation for Adipose Therapeutics & Science
Thank you very much for enquire. It's too early to make value judgments with 2 weeks after a rhinoplasty.Swelling after a rhinoplasty depends of the surgery complexity. In this regard, the nasal swelling Post-op It can last from two weeks to two months. To reduce this swelling, I recommend you ...
It really depends on why the strut is displaced. It may be too long and to one side of the nasal spine for example. It is fairly easy to straighten it under local but the surgeon needs to evaluate the reason for the displacement and correct that also.
You are still relatively fresh out of surgery at 2 weeks. The tip especially can look very swollen at this time. Be positive and give it some time and hopefully what you see is just swelling. FOllow up with your surgeon as planned. Good luck
