I know Asian people have worse strip scar because Asian skin is prone to keloid. But a hair transplant doctor also told me Asian people have worse moth-eaten scar when FUE is used. He said it is impossible to have #2 guard haircut like Caucasian people. Is it true?

Answer: Everyone heals differently. It isn't always related to race or ethnicity. Some Asians do fine with #2 guard some may not.

Thanks for sharing your photos. Based on them your donor side looks good and the redness is common after hair transplantation. For some patients it can take longer and for some not. Important is to follow up and to keep your surgeon updated if there will be any change.
