I got two root canals about a year & a half ago, maybe two years ago & never got crowns on either of the teeth. Now both teeth have cracked in half. Is my only option at this point to get these teeth pulled?
Answer: Cracked tooth options after root canals Hello and thank you for your question. The best way to answer this is with an in-person evaluation. You may need to have the teeth extracted and receive dental implants. There are many benefits to dental implants in that they function exactly like a natural tooth, and they don’t impact surrounding teeth. I recommend getting a consultation with your Dentist or consult with a Prosthodontist. A Prosthodontist is a dental specialist who has advanced training in restoring teeth and can create a customized treatment using the latest techniques in smile restoration.

Answer: Crack after endo I would say most likely the only option would be to extract them. This option would depend on how far the cracks go. Sometimes they can be saved with a crown but if it involves the root then you may be looking at having them taken out.
