I had A root canal done when I was around 10-11 & he left a gap between the crown and my gum. Well 8 years later and that crown has fallen off. Should I be worried ? What should I do? It came off after eating some gummies. I caught it just in time and its still in tact .

Depending on the size of the chip and the type of retainer they most likely will still fit. However, once the chip is repaired make sure to bring the retainer with you to the dentist so they can make sure it fits. If not the retainer may need to be remade.

There are times when you can feel pressure after getting temporaries. This can be due to the temporaries being connected together and/or some swelling from the anesthetic. Have your dentist double check that everythong is ok.
