Hi baileysmith123,I think 1 syringe with 1/2 placed on each side will be helpful, and maybe even ideal. The eye hollows/dark circles often are more accentuated when looking upwards, so it may be not as bad as you the photo you posted. If you look even better when you are swollen after the procedure, than your final result, then you probably need more to reach your ideal result. Some patients who are very worried that some people will find out that they had something done, for fear of being labeled vain, will have their lower eyelid filler performed incrementally. I prefer Restylane, which in my experience lasts 12-18 months before patients are looking to have a touch up. So if you had one syringe performed initially, then wait 6-12 months before you could afford more, most of the original filler will still be there and you can build upon the prior result. One of my patients posted an unsolicited review of her lower eyelid filler experience with photos. She is also young and on a budget, so I tried to use as little filler as possible. In her first session I used 1.5 cc's which is 1 and a half syringes. When I finished filling with only half of the first syringe, she felt she still needed more, so I continued to .75 cc's on the worse side. Then we knew I would use the remaining 0.25 along with another 0.5 cc's so she could have an equal amount on both sides. If she was happy with 0.5 cc's, then 1 syringe would have been enough for her. I hope this helps. Good luck on your cosmetic journey.Best,Dr. YangP.S.
