Would smart lipo fix my (double) chin and (turkey) neck issues as pictured?? I'll turn 50in June and I want both gone but not sure what's the most effective procedure for this specific (problem) area. I need an honest, expert advise please?!?
Answer: Double Chin Treatment / Laxity-- SmartLipo/VASER/ThermiRF, Botox, Venus Legacy, Kybella Fat in this area needs liposuction and I like VASER here more than smartlipo, although ultimately its the person doing the procedure that matters most. I suggest seeing an expert. Sometimes I will combine with ThermiRF to get an ultimate in skin tightening from the procedure. You can always do ultherapy/thermage/venus legacy post treatment, which we have all out patients do. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: SmartLipo or Ultherapy for Neck Contouring Based on your pictures, you appear to be a good candidate for SmartLipo because the fullness appears to be due to fat and your overlying skin looks to have good elasticity. While laser-assisted liposuction permanently removes the excess fat from the neck, Ultherapy does not offer a long term solution. On animation, it's important to note that the lines or cords you see vertically are due to the neck muscle called the platysma which causes the banding and is not treated by either SmartLipo or Ultherapy. An in-person consultation with a qualified plastic surgeon will answer your questions to see what will best benefit you.

Answer: Smart Lipo or Ultherapy? I would recommend PrecisionTX from Smartlipo. It will help you with the excess fat in the area, tighten your skin, and give you better definition of your jawline. With Smartlipo you are directly attacking the fat. With Ultherapy you are only tightening the tissues, fat basically stays the same. With PrecisionTX you will have 2-3 days of downtime and the results are going to be more predictable.Hope this helps,Dr. Gus Diaz

Answer: Smart Lipo or Ulthera I would recommend Precision Tx which is a type of smart lipo with a side firing laser which increases skin tightening. Our office has seen incredible results with the Precision Tx. Procedure. It takes 90 min and if done on a Friday you could easily return to work on Monday. The laser is used to melt fat in the first and then directed upward to tighten skin. Finally fat is removed with a thin cannula similar to liposuction but the fat has been dissolved so it is much less invasive. Best of luck. Make sure your procedure is performed by a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon.

Answer: Neck smartlipo Thanks for your inquiry. Yes, I do think Smartlipo would help you. You appear to have excellent skin, and really only minimal areas of fat (although, I realize it's stubborn and that it bugs you). This procedure tends to be very reliable. I'd meet w/ a local plastic surgeon. Best wishes.
