I had lipo done over a month ago in the saddle ag area and they are gone but now I have a new problem. The hip dip area has a huge dent on both sides. The office is saying to wait it’s just been a month and I’m still swollen. Do I need more time for swelling to go down or do I have a new problem?

Answer: Waiting long enough for potential "defomity" to present in full Waiting and patience is very difficult both for patient and surgeon. However, swelling and lumpiness after liposuction will camouflage result for long time after surgery (6 months and longer). If current hip dent doesn't improve by that time, fat grafting would be a good way to correct it. Be patient and continue communicating with your surgeon. Good luck.

Answer: Liposuction Recovery kt1103. I completely understand your concerns, however it is still quite early in your liposuction recovery journey and it can take as long as six months for all swelling to resolve. At the end of that time, if there are any irregularities, they can be addressed with either touchup liposuction or fat grafting. Try to stay patient and follow up with your plastic surgeon. Good luck.
