Is it okay to have a rhinoplasty and a double eyelid surgery at the same time?

Dear cherryIt is possible to do both procedures at same setting. The only issue isthat the amount of post op swelling around the eyes is often increased when eyelid and nasal surgery are combined. This can make early recovery a little cumbersome but that is well worth the two surgeries with one recovery period.Take your time and find an experienced and well trained surgeon.

I do not recommend combining these procedures. These are delicate areas where meticulous surgery is required to achieve the desired goals. While I'm sure you will find surgeons willing to do it, the likelihood of having a less than ideal result will drastically go up if you do. Good luck. Dr. G

These two procedures can be combined. But just because they can be combined does not necessarily mean they should be. Depending on the exact components of the two surgeries your surgeon may feel that combining may or may not be advisable. When combining procedures most surgeons will reduce the fee of the second procedure. If you do combine them expect more swelling and longer recover than either one separately. On the other hand even though it will typically be longer there will be only one recovery. Discuss the options in detail with your surgeon.
