3 days after rhinoplasty. Is it normal not to have that much bruising and swelling?

Your postop swelling should be commensurate with the aggressiveness of the procedure.  Decreased swelling occurs with closed procedures and tip only procedures. If you had osteotomies and large dorsal hump resections, the swelling typically is more significant.  

Many factors will affect the degree of bruising and swelling after rhinoplasty surgery.  Generally, bruising will reach a maximum at about 3 days after surgery, and will progressively improve afterwards.  The amount of bruising will not be an indicator of the outcome you can expect, as most bruising will resolve in 7-10 days regardless of the severity.  

Swelling after surgery depends on extent of procedure as well as your innate ability to heal. If you don't have pain or swelling, consider yourself lucky. Good luck on cast removal day. MG
