Find the right surgeon to get the best MM for you

Far more important than the technique is the skill and experience of your plastic surgeon. Choose your surgeon rather than the technique and let them explain why one technique may be better than another.

Surgeons to Combine Procedures in the Mommy Makeover

The mommy makeover is a combination of procedures to bring a woman’s body back to the way she looked prior to pregnancy. Most commonly some variation of a #TummyTuck and #BreastSurgery are performed. Additional procedures can include liposuction, umbilical hernia repair.  The most common #breastprocedures include #mastopexy or #breastlift, #breastaugmentation, #breastreduction. You should be able to search the provided links here in for local available Mommy Makeover surgeons, as well as average costs. In addition to the breast and tummy tuck procedures there are other additional combined procedure options including Umbilicoplasty, improving the belly button is an additional benefit of the tummy tuck as is removal of stretch marks of the lower abdomen; Stretch marks, striae, which occur during pregnancy,  improved in a variety of ways through various techniques; Liposuction, the most commonly requested cosmetic surgery procedure in the United States of America, fixing redistribution of body fat and localized fat collections in the tummy, hips, thighs, and upper arms easily; Labiaplasty and vaginal tightening or myoplasty repair tears or damage to the labia during a normal vaginal delivery; Skin pigment changes (chloasma) during pregnancy can be fixed; Varicose veins and spider-veins frequently appear with the hormonal and body fluid changes during pregnancy and simple treatment includes the newest lasers recently developed for these specific problems. Combined operations are often performed with our Gynecology colleagues. Tubal ligation is a common post pregnancy procedure which is done at the time of many of the surgeries noted above. If you require a gynecologic operation or study (laparoscopy) and are considering a plastic surgery procedure, discuss these issues with your doctor. Combining these procedures decreases anesthetics, costs, and recovery time.

Mommy make-over - best surgeon?

Thank you for asking about your mommy make-over.
  • You should be able to get a good to excellent result with any experienced plastic surgeon.
  • If you are overweight, losing weight before surgery will give you an even better result
  • (Some of your stomach fat is internal, and surgery can't remove it.)
  • First find one or more Board Certified Plastic surgeons reasonably near you
  • To do this, go to the website of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
  • Look for surgeons in Florida and Georgia if you do not want surgery in the DR or nearer.
  • Study their websites and on-line reviews and choose three.
  • Call their offices and ask to make Skype or phone consultations to discuss surgery - ask if they do out-of-town surgery - most surgeons in large cities are well-prepared for you.
  • Once you've spoken to the first three surgeons, if you don't find you that seems right for you, look for another three to interview.
Always see a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. Best wishes  - Elizabeth Morgan MD PHD FACS

I encourage you to begin your research with the ASPS for a list of surgeons in your area.  You can review the websites of multiple surgeons and schedule an appointment with those you feel most comfortable with.  Cost will vary.  The fees quoted often encompass surgeon's fees, anesthesia fees, facility charges, and implant fees.

Mommy Makeover /Breast Augmentation/Breast Implants/Anatomic Gummy Bear Implants/Tummy Tuck/Liposuction/BBL

I appreciate your question.

I specialize in Mommy Makeovers and Body Contouring procedures.

Cost varies by geographic location, surgeon expertise, OR time, anesthesia, length of procedure etc.  I would recommend that you see a board certified plastic surgeon in your area who specializes in aesthetic and restorative plastic surgery and who is also a member of The American Society of Plastic Surgery.  You can call their offices in advance and ask for quotes prior to scheduling consultations.

The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam.

Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative plastic surgery.

Best of luck!
