Can I get a nose job and fat transfer around the same time?

 Although we can, and often do, perform multiple procedures on the same person in the same sitting, we have to think logistically. If a rhinoplasty is performed, we usually recommend that the patient sleep on their back slightly upright which would place pressure on the buttocks.   If too much pressure is placed onto a fat grafted recipient site, the fat will not take an ultimately be re-absorbed. If you are thinking of doing any fat grafting at the same time as your rhinoplasty, I would only recommend fat grafting to the breast. 

Hello, thank you for your question. There is no complication having these procedures done at once. We do this procedure all the time. The recovery on sleeping would be sideways so that there is no pressure on buttocks and also on your breasts. I recommend seeking a board certified plastic surgeon to go over details. Best wishes! 

Rhinoplasty and fat transfer simultaneously? These surgeries can easily be perform together and are best done by surgeons who specialize in each surgery. And experienced rhinoplasty surgeon should do the nose and a surgeon skilled in fat transfer should do that operation.  This is the procedure in our office and I'm sure you can find similar examples in other offices. Look for surgeons who do very natural looking noses.

You can get all three surgeries at the same time without much difficulty in your recovery. Please note that you will have to sleep on your sides to avoid pressing on your buttocks and breast.

Thanks for your question.  When there is abundant fat harvested during liposuction it presents a good opportunity to augment other regions of the body.  Doing both your breasts and your buttocks is practical.  Only you can decide your tolerance for discomfort and your motivation to recover from the additional procedure of rhinoplasty.  As plastic surgeons we find that some patients have greater, and others less tolerance for discomfort, pain and inconvenience while recovering from surgery.  If you are in good health your ability to tolerate the longer anesthesia safely should not be an issue.You and your surgeon need to discuss these issues before you make your choice.  Regards,

Nose job and fat transfer at the same time. Both procedures can be done at the same time. In our clinic we believe in specialization so I would do your nose and a plastic surgeon who does the body work would do the fat grafting to your breasts and buttocks.

Since the show "extreme makeovers " years ago almost every patient gets more than one surgery at the same time. Why undergo 2 anaesthesias and down times what you want is easily performed at the same time
