Thank you for your question. I am slightly confused by what you report. I know of no post-op protocols that require patients to wear a corset after a BBL. I am somewhat suspicious if your "dr" send you pictures of one and recommended that you get one. I would first check to make sure your doctor is a board certified (ASPS) plastic surgeon and that you are not getting into an unsafe situation. The only reason I can think of for a patient to wear a corset is to make the BBL area appear larger by comparison, thus helping to give the appearance of a better result than is actually delivered. After a BBL, there are multiple companies that make special compression garments to optomize results. I suggest you discuss those garments with a board certified plastic surgeon. Hope this helps!

Corset has nothing to do with your BBL; compressing your torso with corsets depicted is not medically recommended as you are just squeezing your internal organs.
