Hello, Ive had radiesse injected to the bridge and supratip of my nose 2.5 years ago, im not happy with the results especially because of the consistent swelling, it gets red and irritated very easily which also makes it hard for me to breathe. Unfortunately it hasn't dissolved on it's own yet. I wonder if there are any non surgical ways to remove radiesse from the nose or speed up the dissolving process on my own.
Answer: Dissolving Radiesse I suggest a formal consultation, likely lasers and RF treatments will help. 5fu/steroids helps as well. There is no reversal of radiesse. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Non-surgical option would be to try and diffuse it Radiesse is a stimulatory filler that is an excellent option for patients who desire a longer-lasting filler alternative to hyaluronic acid dermal fillers. In our office, we use Radiesse to complement structural areas of the face and contour bony prominences. Our office also is a center of excellence for filler complication treatments and we see patients who have been treated by other doctors and have undesirable results from Radiesse or other long-lasting fillers. We have treatment options available for Radiesse filler nodules, granulomas, and soft tissue thickening. The first step would be to diagnose the nodularity and determine whether there is an option for surgical vs. non-surgical removal. Surgical excision is a possibility in some patients; whereas others with more diffuse fillers may benefit from intralesional therapy using scar modulators and enzymes and kenalog. Radiesse complications may be long-lasting and prompt action is key. Patients who have no access to an expert in the field should begin gentle massage of the areas of nodularity with Plato’s Scar Serum twice daily. RF and invasive lasers can actually do more damage by stimulating further collagen growth. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Radiesse in the nose needs dissolution Transcutaneous thermal energy will help dissolve it if it is not encapsulated. RF needle therapy will also help. In So Cal, seek expertise from Dr Raffy at Kare Plastic Surgery. See link below.

Answer: #Radiesse - Nonsurgical removal of Radiesse? Unfortunately, there is no way to "remove" Radiesse non-surgically. A combination of treatments may help (saline, laser, etc) but, unlike the HA injectables, there is no way to "reverse" it.However, it seems unusual that you're still having effects at 2.5 years. There tend to be more people wishing it lasted longer than the reverse.I would suggest consultations with several board-certified plastic surgeons and/or dermatologists in your area to let them take a look at you and, perhaps, offer some suggestions for treatment.I hope that this helps and good luck,Dr. Alan EnglerMember of #RealSelf100

Answer: Getting rid of Radiesse There have been some reports that injection of sterile water will held the resolution of Radiesse. There have also been some reports that hyaluronidase may help but this is questionable but an easy thing to try. Time helps and I would think 2.5 years would have been the end but sometimes not. Then there is always the surgical treatment. Incidently Radiesse has just been approved for skeletal hand treatment and the side effects here are uncommon. My Best, Dr Commons
