Medspa suggested Sculptra for my acne scars - is this a good choice?

Hello ND.  IN your case, it appears that the acne scars are smallish in diameter, less than about 1/4" or 1/8" diameter.  Because of this, using Sculptra to improve the scars is difficult.  Sculptra is an excellent product for developing collagen and we often use it on indented areas caused by liposuction, Brazilian butt lifts or just hollow cheeks with thin patients.  But when it comes to doing subcision and then using a filler, we prefer a Hyaluronic acid based filler if the indentations are smaller.  Sculptra is injected across wider areas very easily, but not so much in an area 1/8" across.    Finally, for the type of scars you have, we refer deep resurfacing with a Fractional Erbium laser.

Actually, your best choice would be BellaFill, because it has been specifically approved by the FDA for that purpose, and it lasts longer than Sculptra! Another treatment that is very helpful after the BellaFill has done its job (ie. at about 5 months post-treatment) is to have a Vampire Facial....which is microneedling with your own platelet-rich-plasma growth factors.
If you do a little research into what I am suggesting, I think you will see fantastic results that do NOT "wear off."
