I’m 39, had under chin liposuction, FaceTite & Morpheus8 3 weeks ago with a board certified surgeon. I had tight skin but had stubborn fat since forever. Things are getting worst only this week, no bruising or swelling now. No difference than before but I have saggy skin now I didn't have before, dimpling, and hard horizontal lump on my neck after the procedures. I didn't want to do necklift & I am not ready to do it now, what else can I do? I really feel overwhelmed &I look very old now.
Answer: A combination of another Morpheus8, Ultherapy, and Venus viva to help with this. Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Necklift to reduce sagging skin on the neck The nonsurgical necklift can lift the sagging skin and dissolve fat pockets under the face. The treatment will return elastin and collagen to smooth out dimpling and potentially the lump, depending on its composition. The POD sutures used in a nonsurgical necklift will dissolve in a few months and lost collagen will be restored to the area. The necklift will return a youthful definition to the neck and jaw by both tightening loose skin and lifting the sagging skin. A lunchtime procedure that is growing as a popular alternative to a surgical face lift, it poses minimal risks and is a fraction of the cost of surgery.

Answer: 3 weeks after surgery Thank you for your photos. 3 weeks is still quite early during the healing process. It is normal to have lumps and bumps and areas which feel very firm and tight during this post-operative period. They will continue to smooth, soften, and even out over the next several weeks. I would wait at least 3 to 6 months before determining if you actually have a contour deformity or not. Hope this helps! Johnson C. Lee, MD Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon

Answer: Neck swelling after procedures This is called induration and is frequently seen after manipulation of the neck. It is not abnormal and is worst at about 4-6 wks after a procedure. Its frequently caused by blood in the tissues. Very low dose steroid injections might help. It tends to get better with time. Talk with your doctor.
