Is it possible for coolsculpting to fail? I did coolsculpting in the end of October and I had my second treatment in the beginning of December. I'm on my second month this month and I haven't seen any result for under chin fat. I'm so disappointed that maybe it just isn't going to work, do you think maybe something went wrong or will I still have a chance to see results in the next months?

Just like any other non-surgical treatment there is always the possibility of not seeing visible results. There are many reasons for this. I would recommend continued follow up with your treating physician and evaluation of your before and after pictures. Like for any other part of the body, however, it is always nice to see some improvement before going ahead with a second round. That is why we tend to wait 2 to 3 months before that 2nd round. CoolSculpting is still the best non-invasive fat reduction technology, but it is not perfect. We get a visual reduction of any collection in approximately 95% of patients, which means that there is a 5% chance that you don’t see any results. There is also a rare risk (around 1 chance in 1,000) that the fat gets thicker after the treatment.
