Can I get a lip wax two hours prior to Juvederm lip injections?

Unfortunately, both my nurse and my aesthetician are booked solid and I can only get in with both of them on the same day. I get waxed every two weeks and I have had lip injections before.

Hi Kristen.It is normal to have some hard spots with dermal filler injections. I believe you will be better in a week or two. I always suggest returning to see your injector about 2 to 3 weeks after the initial injection. In some cases, lumps have to be dissolved, but it does not sound like this...

Dear Sarah_2016,It seems like the filler has migrated and has formed a pocket in your lips. If by two weeks after your injection, the swelling does not subside, I recommend seeing the original injector to have the pocket dissolved.Best regards,Nima Shemirani

Thank you for your question. While this question does depend on individual goals and anatomy often my injectable fillers of choice are Juvederm and Volbella which is also from Allergan. I would suggest an in person consultation. I hope this helps. Best wishes.
