I got lip fillers on Monday. (Juverdem) and I showed the doc how I wanted them. I feel like he put way too much in my pout. Instead of the sides of my lips Bc I feel the Juverdem. I feel like crying every time I see a mirror. What can be done? I know there's something that can b put to melt the Juvederm. Will that cost? What if they're too small? Will they charge me again too?

Answer: Swelling after lip fillers Significant swelling can occur after lip fillers. When you posted your photos you were only about 2 days out from the treatment. You can expect significant improvement in the swelling within 3-5 days of the procedure. In the worst case scenario, if you get to the five day timepoint and feel overdone some of the filler can be reversed with hyaluronidase. I hope this information is helpful for you.Stephen Weber MD, FACSDenver Facial Plastic Surgeon

Answer: Give it time Hi there. Don't panic just yet. The lips can swell quite a bit after lip injections, and the degree of swelling will differ from person to person. The swelling can take up to 2 weeks to fully subside, but should get better with each passing day. If after 2 weeks you still don't like the way they look then your injector can dissolve the Juvederm quickly with some Hyaluronidase. Hang in there.
