it seems like its becoming more noticeable don't want it to get any worse. I can still breathe through them and don't have any trouble sleeping. If I push on the middle outside with the slightest pressure it closes it all the way. but if I "puff out" my nostrils they almost look symmetrical again. I want to know if I should try to breathe in through my nose Should I use nasal spray Also is gets really dry inside should I avoid touching it as much as I can..inside and outside? There is no pain

A thorough internal and external examination of the nose is required looking at both static and dynamic issues with your nose.  Cartilage grafting techniques are usually applied to the nostril rims to help prevent collapsing with inspiration

Thank you for your photos.  It is possible that you may need some grafting procedures such as a rim graft or lateral crural strut to support the alar and keep its shape. You may need septal work as well. You will be best served after an in-office examination to evaluate the structures of your nose and how your valves react to deep breathing and other actions.Hope this helps!Johnson C. Lee, MD

Dear Ranner2, A deviated septum can be fixed with surgery. If you do not want to have surgery and it is fine except when you push on it then I would avoid pushing on it. If you're having no trouble breathing an no pain there is no reason to use nasal sprays. I recommend you see a nasal specialist to examine you and determine the cause of your "collapse".
