Is it normal to have bruising at corner of mouth after Restylane injection?

I would not say that it is normal to have bruising after a Restylane injection, but it certainly is possible and can occur.  Any injection can cause bruising, so sometimes it may happen and sometimes it may not.  Ice packs on and off to the area can help with bruising and if you feel the issue is not resolving, you should contact the physician who treated you.  

Thank you for sharing your question. Bruising after filler injections is completely normal and can last up to two weeks post initial treatment. Bruising and swelling is especially common when a needle is used for injections. In my practice, I prefer to use a microcannula when injecting dermal fillers, which essentially eliminates the risk of bruising and greatly reduces chances of swelling. This technique also allows fillers to be injected evenly, which provides a very natural looking result. In the future, I recommend considering a provider who is experienced with the micrcannula technique. In the meantime, you can apply ice on/off to the bruised area and it should resolve in no time. There can be bruising and/or swelling after injections and should resolve within 1-2 weeks. In the meantime, icing and VBeam treatments can help improve the appearance of the bruise. Best, Dr. Emer

If you are on herbal products, this can make it much more likely that you will bruise.  The bruises clear. It is not the fault of your dermatologists.  It is completely normal to bruise and yes it will get better but it takes time.

Anytime an injection is done into the skin a bruise can occur.  apply ice and topical arnica or vitamin K. if it were a vessel compromise you would be in a great deal of pain but to be certain contact your dermatologist
